Decent apartments in a great location
I have been here a little over a month now. The apartments are quiet and in the perfect location. Close to downtown and the ... airport but far enough away to avoid most of the traffic. Parking isn't bad. Love having access to all the pools. The leasing office people are super friendly. Only complaint is I have seen 3 roaches since moving in. Not sure if all the apartments have this problem or if my neighbors and the previous tenants are just nasty. But overall its a decent apartment for someone looking for something cheap. We've lived here for two years, just signed a third lease and have never had one problem that hasn't been addressed quickly. ... We had some issues with upstairs neighbors but when we talked to the office, it was handled the next day and we haven't had a problem since. Our maintenance requests get done the same day or next day and they do it well. I love Lisa and Don in the office, they've always gone above and beyond for us and even asked to see wedding pictures when we got married. I feel appreciated here as a tenant and a person. Things like parking and neighbor noises aren't the apartments fault but when we do go to the office for them, it gets addressed as best as it can. We love it here. I absolutely love this complex. My boyfriend and I moved here a couple months ago from Michigan and haven't had any issues, ... other than our central air. We pay almost 1000 a month and our air has only briefly worked. The maintenance guys are extremely patient and kind and have been over to our unit more than 8 times to try and figure out what's wrong and have replaced numerous parts, still with no luck. Our apartment gets well over 85° and it absolutely miserable. We have a 16 month old son who is always in the go, but threat has really been hard on him. I really enjoy all the things this complex has to offer and my son loves being down at the pool swimming. I just wish our air actually worked like advertised. I wanted to wait awhile before I did a Review, because you never know what you are getting into when you first move. Overall ... I love living here. My neighbors are quiet, or at least I can't hear them which is great. I love living in the townhome because I don't like having someone above or below me. We have not had any parking or maintenance issues at all. But above all we are close to the Greenway and I love to walk and my daughter loves to bike and the added dog park to the Greenway is great for dogs. I am very glad I chose here to be my first apartment. I recently moved to Nashville from South Carolina and have been thoroughly ... impressed. The grounds are well kept. The staff has been extremely helpful, especially Jillian. She has gone over the top to help my family and I through the whole moving process. I love the vaulted ceilings and having the laundry machines in the kitchen. It seems weird but is actually very convenient. The carpet is really nice and having a fireplace is a plus for when it gets really cold. The only downside is that it is a little noisy but also any apartment complex I have been in has been loud. The Stewarts Ferry Apartments are a nice collection of buildings spread out over a large campus. It has access to the Stones ... River Greenway along with being right over the I-40. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful should you need any assistance around the complex. There are a handful of issues with parking and neighbors being loud, but that seems to be the current trend in Nashville moreso than an apartment-specific one. I moved here in November. My apartment is great, no noise, if you need something fixed they do it right away. The staff here ... is great, but the parking sucks. I had back surgery in December. when I got to where I could drive, when I came home at night from work I would have to park up at the other Apartment complex and walk down a hill to my apartment. I just feel if I pay to live here I should at least be able to park close to my apartment. When I go to work in the morning there are cars parked up on the grass, and any where they can. I would love for someone to contact me about this. I just think a memo should be sent out to everyone about it. this is a nice place to live, they just need to do something about the parking. All maintenance issues have been handled in a timely manner. Staff, especially Don, have been great to speak to. It is one of the best places I've been able to live, staff is extremely friendly and I'm confident in the maintenance staff ... that if something is wrong they will be there to fix it in a timely manner. Parking is the worst thing about this place making it a problem to park after about 5pm parking becomes limited. People constantly park where ever since there isn't enough parking spaces and then get tickets, completely something management needs to fix.
